“Growing up as an Asian-American student on free and reduced lunch, I experienced barriers that impacted my experience in school. This left me feeling unsupported in my classes, and I struggled to feel a sense of comfort and belonging at school.

Despite those barriers, I eventually found a community in college that allowed me to feel comfortable in school and supported me to excel academically. This showed me the power of community to help students succeed.

PRAIS partners with schools to help students who are experiencing similar barriers so that schools are environments where all students are supported to succeed.
